Hamilton Heights to erect fence at Hamilton Heights Complex

Hamilton Heights President, Tim Ebersole recently met with Chambersburg Area School District officials to discuss the neighbor on Blueberry Lane that is complaining about Softballs on her property, people walking across her lawn and alleged damage caused by softballs to her property. It was decided that Hamilton Heights Youth League should erect a 6 foot high  that will extend 200 feet from the Bricker property to the end of the neighbors house, we will also extend the backstop out an additional 20 feet to the end of the dug out to try to stop additional foul balls from landing on her property or damaging her house. The total cost of this project will be in the neighborhood of $7,000. We are attempting a few new fundraisers to help offset the cost of this project. The first is the Links of Olde Scotland on April 28, the second will be the Lincoln Lanes fundraiser, additional details will be forthcoming. We are also considering scheduling a late season donkey softball game, we are going to contact local radio stations to see if we can challenge the radio station DJ's to a game. This would put HHYL coaches against local radio personalities. It is very important that you support us in these fundraising opportunities. These are easy fundraisers that we do not need to sell anything to make money. Spread the word and come out and support us in these future fundraisers.
