I would like to take a minute and Introduce Freedom Community Park Inc. This has been formulated basically of Hamilton Heights Youth League and Scotland Broncos. What our Goal is to have a place for the youth of Chambersburg area to play sports. It seems like over the years people in the area have been taking more and more land from the youth to play. Alan Kline and I have been pushing to find land for our 2 communities for many years. About a year ago we decided to combine our strengths and go after approximately 39 acres of land in letterkenny at Kenny gardens. We have plans to have 5 – 7 baseball fields in one location as well as up to 9 all purpose fields (Football, Lacrosse and Soccer) with 1 stadium. The Freedom Community Park Inc. Needs donations from many people to get this facility under way. If you work for any company that has a capability of donating money or time to this facility it would be appreciated.

Things the community needs As soon as possible.

• Architect or engineering
  • (To help layout plans for the community to get the land utilized)
• Excavating
  • (This is the one thing that we need desperately. If you work for an excavating company we need help. If we can get the land leveled in the areas that need it. This is going to be our most expensive part of the whole process. )
  • We are willing to offer advertising for the excavating companies willing to help with this process. Please have someone call us to discuss the opportunities
• Money – we are going to need money no amount is to small.
  • We are going to need to be able to spread the word about this project in a positive manner
• Electrician
  • We are going to need an electrician to help get the Facility up and running as far as our concession stand and getting the park on its own meter
• Removal Of Buildings
  • We need 3 building completely removed
• Products
  • We are in need of donations for Grass seed, Chain link Fence, Stone Clean Dirt
