The Hamilton Heights
Youth League (HHYL) was
established in the early 1960's with the Board of Directors
being established in 1982. The HHYL continues to offer
boys and girls from the age of 5 - 18 the opportunity to play
baseball and softball in a safe and enjoyable environment. The
HHYL serves the Hamilton Township area which is just west of
Chambersburg
in Southcentral Pennsylvania and has approximately 250 boys and
girls playing on 21 different teams. The HHYL plays at 3
different complexes. The first is to the rear of the Hamilton
Heights Elementary School located at 1589 Johnson Road.
The second is located at 68 Nottingham Drive in the Kensington
Heights Development, this complex is also known as the PIT. The
land these fields are on was donated to the league by Carl Flohr.
The last complex we utilize was recently leased to us by the
Chambersburg Area School District. This field is known as the
Kenny Gardens Complex. The HHYL is part of the
Chambersburg Suburban League and plays under the PONY baseball
and softball rules and regulations. Hamilton Heights joins
approximately 20 other communities in Franklin, Cumberland, &
Fulton Counties in the Chambersburg Suburban League. I hope you find this site
both informative and enjoyable. If at any time you find mistakes
or wish to offer ideas for adding additional material to the web
